FRED: Fund Raising Enhanced Database

FRED is a FileMaker Pro 5/5.5 database used by organizations that do fundraising. It tracks donor names and addresses, gifts, and pledges. It allows you to keep track of a whole lot more as well.

The files are available in three different formats. Choose the one that best suits your computer configuration. You only need to pick one.

• StuffIt archive (824k)
• Windows Executable Program (1055k)
  Self-extracting StuffIt archive. Use this as a last resort if both of the files above are unusable by your computer.

There are four passwords that provide different levels of access. Once the database is installed into a work environment, these passwords should be changed. The initial (lowercase) passwords are: "admin", "high", "medium", "low". Admin access has full access to everything. High access can do all but certain database design functions. Medium is read-only access to everything. Low is read-only access to non-financial information and no access to anything else.
